Life has been a whirlwind of emotion and
stress and well, life. We’ve been so caught up in everything that I almost
missed the fact that Grace is now 6 months old. Half a year. Where has the time
gone?
My darling little baby is honestly the
sweetest, happiest little cherub. Thinking back to the day she was born fills
me with such emotion, I honestly can’t believe how much she’s grown. Things are
so fun with her right now. She has the loudest little laugh, and she uses it so
liberally. She’s sitting perfectly on her own and her first little tooth has
just about pushed through (after much wailing and grumpiness). She is seriously
such an absolute joy.
Things
Gracie loves:
Anything that involves laying in daddy’s
arms
Sweet potatoes and porridge
Watching Sophie sing and dance
Sleeping – how did we get this lucky?
Bath time
Tickles
Peek-a-boo
Holding her own bottle – she’s as amazed by
this as we are
Aunty Simone’s mini Doberman
Staring at the trees
Things
Gracie does not love:
When mommy cleans her nose
When the food is finished
Loud noises
Lots of people
Putting on a long sleeve top
Towel drying her hair
Watching her grow and develop into this
wonderful little person fills my heart with such pride and love.
Every night before I go to sleep I peep at
my girls, I look down at their angelic little faces, their impossibly long
eyelashes, their perfect little mouths, their rosy cheeks and I have to pinch
myself, because I don’t know how I ever got so lucky.

I love how babies keep their feet in the air, holding on to it. It's so cute. She loves sweet potato? Awww sweet man
